A question about reconciliation.

Here’s an honest question: Given that God seeks unity for his people, how should the body of Christ react to intentional deception without repentance by one of it’s members?

Assuming you’ve confronted the brother and brought in a 3rd party to mediate as required in scripture.

Is it more Christlike to act like the deception never happened and maintain the appearance of unity?

Or, is it more Christlike to break fellowship until repentance ‘happens’?
